Provide elderly and convalescent clients with companionship Aide client with ambulation, bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Administer bedside and personal care with dressing and undressing. Assist with meal preparations and with feeding. Charting daily duties and personal care, reporting all changes to supervisor (the RN) and changes in behavior, vital signs, overall physical health. Light housekeeping and making beds, escorting residents to and from dining room for daily meals. Childcare: Prepared meals for children ages 1-6 years of age, such as breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Responsible for securely putting children on the school bus and then picking them off the school bus at the end of the day. Organized indoor and outdoor activities, reading stories, doing arts and crafts, watched children’s educational movies. Did a monthly fire drill. Made sure children had afternoon naps Kept good oral and written communication skills with children and with their parents, as to update them on the activities they did for the day, and also discussed any behavioral issues which was seldom needed. Housekeeping duties, packing away laundry, unpacking dishwasher, cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, vaccuming and moping common areas, answering home phone and taking messages.
