i am a registered nurse in my home country and i am trying to pursue my proffesion here in Canada. At this moment the College of Nursing wrote me a letter that i am eligible to take a licensure exam for nursing here in Ontario. I went to Algonquin to start my nursing. In my country (Phillipines), i used to work in Nursing Home as a nurse. I gave medication, make sure their safety all the time, i checked or noted doctors orders, planned their activities weekly basis, prepared all their needs. When i came here in Canada i took care for children for 4 years and 1 year for elder. As of now i am working in retirement home as a UCP/PSW (charge nurse). i am having fun and i love working with elder people.
