Hello, My name is Pat and I enjoy interacting with seniors and hearing their stories about the life they've lived. My personality is fun-loving and compassionate. I enjoy finding the humor in situations when it is appropriate. My Master's Degree in Pastoral Studies included pastoral counseling. As a meditation/tai chi instructor I bring various skills in helping clients de-stress. You will find in me a dependable, knowledgeable and willing helper. When do we begin? My most recent experience was with Community Home Support in Perth, ON. I served for three years as a respite care provider to various households. I left when I re-located to Ottawa in March of 2013. I also taught Tai Chi to residents at Carolina Retirement Community in Perth for two years until 2012. I have served in the helping profession all my life as a chaplain in acute care and chemical dependency/psychiatric services for 9 years. In the past 15 years I have been self employed as a meditation teacher, massage therapist, and Tai chi instructor.
