Elder Care in Kanata, Ontario

Hello! My name is Kristin and I am a very caring person who loves to care for others. If I can help make your lives easier, then that would make me happy! I am 32 years old and live in Kanata. I have a reliable vehicle and I am willing to travel throughout Ottawa. I am looking to help families in any way I can. I have a very bubbly personality and you will never see me unhappy. Hope to hear from you soon! I used to care for a woman with Muscular Dystrophy for about 2 years. Duties included; -Arrive at 6am to help her get out of bed and into the washroom so she could go to work -assist with bathing and use of the toilet -Dress her and do her hair. -Make her lunch and send her off to work -I would stay for a couple hours more to clean, do laundry, prepare dinner, gardening, take care of pets, filing etc. -in the afternoon I would drive to her workplace to assist her in the washroom I also did bedtime care for a senior woman who was quadriplegic. Duties included; -washing her face and massaging shoulders and arms -changing clothes -brushing teeth -emptying catheter/changing diaper -lift to into bed from wheelchair
