Hello, As someone who has had close family members with major health concerns, I understand how hard it can be to be away from your loved ones while your life continues on (children, work etc). I am an elementary school teacher looking for an opportunity to help others in need. i enjoy working with people of all ages, and am not squeamish or shy about mental or physical health disabilities. I am simply an adult with some extra time who misses being needed and helpful. - I volunteered at St. Peter's Seniors hospital in Hamilton - I live with my Grandmother during her final 3 months suffering from stomach cancer - I took care of my other Grandmother who suffered from a fast growing brain tumor - I lived with my uncle for 2 years after an illness that left him a double below-the knee amputee and with TBI - Duties: wound care, personal care, bathing, housekeeping, tube feeding, cooking, handling medications
