Good day! Hi! I’m Leah, Filipino, 32 years old! Looking for a full time job in elderly care until end of May. I\'ve been here in Canada for more than 4years so no need ofr sposnorship then. I am presently looking after an elderly lady in Markham area. She has a dementia and alzheimer\'s condition that needs 24 hours round the clock monitoring. My lastday working here is until February 27th. Way back in 2010, I had an experience in Elderly Care, I had taken care of an elderly in Baycrest Hospital (Jewish Aged Care) and I undergo caregiver training in Philippines. In addition to that, I had my personal experienced in taking care of my Aunt and grandmother during the last year of their lives. It made me tougher while taking care of them as well as it gained me real experience so I can apply it in the Adult Care. I also took a short course in PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT or same as PSW. I did 120 hours placement in Jewish nursing home I was assigned in Level 2, combination of High Care and Low Care Residents with Dementia. My duties as being a Personal Care Attendant (that\'s what they call in here) I gave shower to the residents, assisted them in dressing, feeding and attending to their needsand acquired some trainings like: CPR, First Aid, Manual Handling as well as Food Handling.
