Elder Care Job in Mississauga, Ontario

Full-time Live-out Senior Caregiver Needed in Mississauga/Peel Region I am looking for senior care for my mother who is 90 and has recently suffered a stroke that has impaired her vision and reduced her mobility. My mother lives with me and I am a homemaker who has her own family and household responsibilities. My sister lives on the same street (4 houses apart; 1 minute walk) as me and my mother usually stays 1 week with me and 1 week with my sister. The caregiver will have to be willing to stay with my mother wherever she stays (my house or my sister\'s) She is still lucid most of the time but has lost a great deal of her activity as well as interest in daily activities. She needs assistance to use the bathroom. She uses a walker to get around and has a wheelchair as well. The main thing we want from a caregiver is companionship for her. We would request that while she sleeps or doesn\'t require the caregiver\'s company, she assist in household tasks, i.e. kitchen housekeeping, cleaning the bathroom, folding and putting away laundry, dusting, vacuuming, brooming etc. as needed.
