Elder Care in Victoria, British Columbia

Families, I am young nurse with a huge want to learn. I am willing to assist in any and all of your needs. I understand it is difficult to have someone care for a loved one, please know I am here to work for you. I am open to suggestions, options and opinions when it comes to care. I will do what is in my power to assist your loved one in a caring, therapeutic manner. I am currently living in Victoria BC. HOWEVER, I will be moving to Nanaimo in the month of July. 2014. My purpose in life is to help others. I feel strongly when it comes to advocating, respecting and caring for people of disabilities, intellectual issues, medical and mental health issues, young or elder. I truly love what I do. Let me help you. I am currently the charge nurse of a Full care facility in Victoria British Columbia. Although I have recently graduated from the LPN program in 2012, I have managed to have a variety of experiences. I have worked as a Nurse on Neuro rehab in Victoria Hospital. I have been a triage nurse at the Senior out patience at the Royal Jubilee Hospital as well as a Charge Nurse in a private care home. Since working at the private care home, I have been able to experience everything from Post Op care, Diabetes and management, Wound care, Cancer care, Seizures, Mental Health Disabilities, and severe allergies. Many times, I am the only nurse caring for over 26 residents and patients. I like to say that I believe I am confident in my position.
