During the past 14 years I have worked in the Assisted Living/Memory Care industry and as a private in home caregiver. I have chosen a career in caring for elders because it brings me great joy providing quality care and safety to our aging population. My compassion and respect for the elderly stems from a desire to make a difference in their daily lives and promote independence and dignified living. It is an honor to serve this generation and I enjoy learning about their lives and amazing stories. I am currently licensed as an Assisted Living Administrator in the state of Nevada. I provided supervision as a Wellness Director for eight years in two different communities, overseeing community elders wellness and safety. Providing staff supervision and training in all aspects of care and end of life services. Before accepting the Wellness Director position I provided quality care giving for three years on a one on one basis. In home and also in local assisted living communities. Providing all levels of care, home chores and transportation. I am currently licensed with the State of Nevada as a Medication Technician Trainer and hold a current CPR and First Aid certification. I am an honest and reliable individual who takes pride in providing quality services to our aging population. I have attended many seminars regarding care techniques, Alzheimer's and Dementia, and many other programs to extend my knowledge and assist me in providing the best services possible.
