Elder Care in Fredericksburg, Virginia

My name is Dawn Farrar, I am a medical assistant with experience in elder care. I am 54 years old and physically fit able to do lifting if needed. I spent sevens years with a doctor that made house calls. Many of our patients were in assisted livings, some at home with care takers, and some on hospice. In this respect I have a little knowledge of medicines used, dementia and the risks associated with it. I have been the nurse and worked private care. In that case I cooked, light housekeeping, shopping, got patient up and dressed in the morning, took to bathroom regularly, exercised, made all meals, got ready and to bed in evening. During the day I encouraged interaction with games like bingo and cards, or conversation. I look forward to helping with your elder loved one.
