During my five years of work as a personal support worker, I have become acutely aware that there is more to caring for someone than just the physical - the emotional aspect is just as important. The effects of needing a caregiver on other family members can be hard and I aim to make the process a seamless transition for everyone. After years in the 'big business' home care companies watching people slip through Canada's health care system .... I have started my own company that aims to deliver a whole new home care - one that is truly client centered and always puts the client and their family first. Some of the services offered include: - Personal Care - bathing , hygiene, oral care, toileting, skin and hair care, assistance with dressing, eating, mobility and medications. - Domestic Duties - all aspects of housekeeping and management, laundry, dishes, assistance with pet care. - Respite Services for those caregivers who need a break or some much needed and important ‘me’ time. My qualifications include: CPR Certified by Red Cross 2016. PSW Graduate. Food Safety Certified. Feeding Certified. Vulnerable Sector Background Check (dated 06/2016).
