• Certification in BLS (Basic life Support) equivalent to CPR-HCP/First Aid Certification from American heart association. • Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from American heart association. • Eligible and Applied for RN to College of Nursing Ontario (CNO). • Credential accessed from NNAS Canadian Registration for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) • Over Two years of Nursing experience in Hospital and long term care centres. • Strong assessment, patient care and discharge planning skills. • A patient, caring, compassionate and dedicated care giver. • Experience working with seniors and adult patients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and cerebrovascular diseases. • Physically capable of lifting, turning and transferring residents manually and with a mechanical lift as per standers and procedures. • Effective communication skills; fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi. • In-depth knowledge of different nursing practices. • Highly skilled in providing assistance to other seniors. • Demonstrated ability to encourage and stimulate patients. • Proven record of patience, compassion, tolerance and tact • Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Internet and Email.
