I am a 20 year old female with Personal Support Worker qualifications as I am a second year nursing student. I am currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Nipissing University and have earned above average grades and positive reviews from nursing instructors. I have successfully completed my geriatric, surgical and mental health rotation. I have worked on the in Geriatric settings both in personal homes, hospitals and long-term care homes which has allowed be to gain additional experience caring for elders who are physically, mentally and/or emotionally impaired. I am very experienced in cooking, feeding, cleaning, and bathing for the elderly population. I am certified for Level C CPR and first aid, and will be renewing them in April 2016 and have a valid G Drivers License. As per Nipissing nursing program protocol I have completed a Police Vulnerable sector check indicating a clean criminal record. I am a young, enthusiastic person who has a strong passion for providing care for those who need it, and enjoy helping them make the most out of their late years in life. I will be striving for a position in relation to health promotion, which I feel is most important to the elderly population.
