Elder Care in Plano, Texas

I've worked full time the majority of my life in the insurance industry as a commercial property underwriter. Most recently I worked for a company based out of London, however on 7/14/16 they decided to close the Dallas office. Most of my experience with caring for people has been in the form of volunteering in the evenings or on weekends. I started with Office on Aging in Carrollton,TX where I took folks to the Dr's or grocery shopping. Then I got involved with Mobile Meals where I delivered meals to home bound folks in Addison, Carrollton & Farmers Branch. I joined Trinity Hospice until they were bought out and currently, I'm a volunteer for Grace Hospice in Plano. While I have no formal training or designation, I've cared for my mom who is 97 with bathing, grooming and dressing and am willing to learn how you do things. I have is a heart of gold when it comes to people in need, especially the elderly. If you want someone who will show up on time, be pleasant, take care of some the day to day activities and be a great companion for your loved one, I just might be what you are looking for. Denise
