As a graduate from Archbishop Anthony Meagher's Personal Support Worker Certificate program, I have acquired excellent knowledge and skills to support and empower people who have physical disabilities. My understanding of issues pertaining to various disabilities and available treatment and/or support options would also be beneficial for this position. During my field placements, I have assisted clients with their activities for daily living within a long term care facility while helping them maintain independence and dignity. I have extensive training and practical experience as a Personal Support Worker. Caring and compassion are my strengths in the delivery of high standard care to diverse range of clients. I feel confident in my abilities to effectively meet the needs of clients as well as maintain accurate confidential records and charts. I have been praised on several occasions by both staff and family members for my abilities to relate to and care for my clients.
