My name is Samantha Ralston, I am currently an LPN and I'm going into my third year. Prior I was a medical assistant for 6 years and I'm also attending RN school. I have 3 years experience working with the elderly that have dementia, Alzheimer's disease and many more serve health conditions. Unfortunately nursing home facilities have lacked in their ability to actually care about the residents and employees, this is why I need a change in how I utilize my nursing skills. I became a nurse to make every aspect of an individuals life the best it can be. Including all nursing skills I can provide I love to be a companion and the little things that bring joy and hope to the people I care for is what I'm in search of and have not found the right place that believes in these core values. If you are in need of a nurse that can do light house cleaning, provide bathing and grooming, companionship, help with taking medication, wound care, and knowing you have someone that can notice a change in your loved ones conditions and has the ability to communicate directly with physician, can put your mind at ease.
