Dear Family, My name is Josie, I am 44 years old, married and has two children. I live in midtown Toronto, I have been in Canada since year 2002. At first i worked as a live-in caregiver and took a program as PSW ( Personal Support Worker) When I got my certificate in 2004, I started to work as PSW by then. I worked in hospital setting, nursing home/ retirement home as well in home setting. I\'ve been working with elderly with different health issue or just simply with old age conditions. Aside of giving them their daily personal care, such as: Bathing, personal hygiene, feeding, talking/interacting with them and giving their medications, I am also able to drive them to their activities and appointments. I can use my personal car or the client\'s car, it depends on the arrangement. Ever since I work as PSW that\'s when I start to understands more how to deal with different old age situation and different behaviors. I am a compassionate person, trustworthy, reliable, dependable, and I can work efficiently by my own or in team work.
