Hello! My name is Andrea and I am originally from Chicago, IL. I have recently moved down here with my infant daughter and love working with the elderly. I have worked in a nursing home setting as well as home care. I have over 5 years of experience in this field. I have knowledge in creating care plans, assisting with medications and medical needs, monitoring medications, assisting with basic needs (bathing, eating, etc.), preparing meals and having a meal plan, housekeeping, transferring from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to car, etc., transporting to and from doctors appointments and hospital visits, accompanying them at all times and monitoring their progress. I have experience and knowledge in physical and occupational therapy techniques and can assist in each. I also have worked with dementia patients before and can also assist with diabetic testing.
