Elder Care Job in Beaverton, Oregon

Our mother (with Parkinsons) needs a full-time caretaker to ensure she gets from point A to point B safely, as she is a fall risk. She is energetic at times, tired at times. She lives in an assisted living facility and hospice is involved. We need a caring, calm-demeanor caretaker who is a CNA, Nursing student or experienced elderly caretaker, to help in the case of an emergency. Duties also include helping with getting her out/into bed, assisting her in getting dressed, and to/from the bathroom. Also washing dishes, completing laundry, and accompanying her on walks and/or to meals. Patient has a walker, wheelchair & cane to assist in her mobility. She has frequent friend, family & hospice visits, therefore a cheerful demeanor and ability to communicate with family & medical staff is important. Pay is $12-$14 per hour, depending on experience and connection with patient. The days will be split into 12 hour days.
