Elder Care in Thomaston, Georgia

I have3 years experience as a caregiver. I am phlebotomy certified, worked as a CNA, one year of nursing school. I enjoy spending time with seniors, helping them and listening to their life experiences. I worked with the public for 28 years. I was an office manager for 15 years for a local business then at a large retail store as a dept. Manager for 8 years. While I was pregnant with my second child I decided I wanted to fulfill my lifetime dream of becoming a nurse. I took a phlebotomy course while I was pregnant and had planned to begin nursing school shortly after his birth but God had different plans. My son was born 10 weeks prematurely and was on life support for 10 weeks but I am blessed to say is doing great 11 years later after many battles. I had to put my dream on hold to return to work for insurance. Eight years later I started nursing school went for a year and my husband has to retire in disability (he worked for UPS for 35 years ) after several sugeries the doctors told us he would need a nurse to be with him until he was able to care for himself again . For the past e years I have stayed at home with my 3 children (ages 10, 11, 23) due to my experience in the healthcare field I was blessed to be my husband's home nurse. I plan to return to nursing school at some point but for now God as well as my 2 step daughters that are both RNS has helped me decide that I would enjoy being a caretaker due to my love for the elderly. I am a trustworthy, honest , dedicated and dependable person . whomever decides that I could be of help to their love one I would love for you to come to my home and meet my family as well as me yours . I would want you to know everything about me and feel 100% sure I'm the person you want to be the caregiver of your loved one. If they are able to go places of be happy to take them out for whatever their needs my be or just to spend time outdoors . if they are not able I enjoy listening to country and Christian music,reading books,or whatever their interest in life are I would enjoy doing with them . I enjoy cleaning and. Cooking. I will do whatever needs to be done to care for them and love them as I would my own parents. I understand that it's very important to know your love one is being taken very good care of when you are not able to be there.
