Elder Care in Toronto, Ontario

Hi, My name is Rebecca Mahon. I moved to Toronto a year ago, I am a registered nurse in Ireland but do not have my registration here in Canada, however I have taken a career break and want to continue to work in the caring field as a personal support worker/caregiver. I have 2 years experience as a registered nurse and a total of 6 years in the caring field, I have gained great experience looking after individuals with acute and chronic illness. I am a very caring, compassionate and reliable person. My main priority is taking caring of individuals who cannot attend to their own needs whilst also encouraging independence. At present I am looking after a lady with mobility issues who is awaiting rehab, therefore I am in the process of looking for another caregiver job.
