39 year old mother of 2 girls seeking a position in the home care industry. I have 10 years experience in care for elderly and life experience with people. My ability to multitask and remain efficient and calm make me a highly skilled professional. I attend a bridge over program for nursing, as I do not currently have nursing degree. I personally took on the role of caregiver to mom in law as well as my grandma, both ladies had many ailments, surgeries and terminal diseases. I possess the ability to listen, remember, communicate, be patient, and flexible. I am skilled in wound care, diabetes, cancer, colostomy, heart defibrillators and pace makers, medical gear/equipment and machines, oxygen use, anxiety, dementia bed ridden and many psychiatric diseases. I am CPR trained and certified, HIPPA certified and able to provide extensive references.
