Hello Everyone, Searching for honest heartened, trustworthy care is so hard to find.., This is why I devoted my life for the past 14 years in taking good care of my precious grandmother as her POA. and loving care giver. She passed at age 98 and she was so dear to my heart! I refused to place her in another persons care or a nursing home facility. Before she became ill my daily routine consist of keeping her entire home neat and clean. Cooking her daily healthy meals . Administering her medication. Keeping her groomed, Taking her to all MD appointments ,.Keeping clothes washed and managing bills. Once she became bed ridden after several years.... I made sure that she was always changed , .Dressed her wounds . Kept her turned, and made sure that she was always comfortable. at all times. Always cooked and spoon fed her favorite meals inordrr that she would eat properly. Kept her hair washed and nails manicured . Sometimes I would be there by her side to read to her, sing or just be a good companion for her to talk to. I truly spoiled her rotten. and enjoyed every moment! Her favorite words would always be you are such a sweet blessing to me and with out you I would have been gone along time ago! Well she was truly a blessing to me as well and it was an honor to be given the opportunity to be here to take good care of her the way that an elderly person deserves . The love that I have for the elderly is indescribable. They deserve the highest level of care that a person can provide and should not settle for anything less!
