Elder Care in Boothbay Harbor, Maine

I am a caring, responsible, and unflappable woman. Whatever work I do, I am committed to doing it ethically and professionally. My hope is to find a position as a companion to an elderly person who wants the assurance of having someone on hand so they do not need to worry about being alone, and so they can feel safe and cared for. Although I am strong, I am a mere 5 feet tall, so I am unable to lift people up due to it being too bulky. While I am 63 years old, I exercise regularly and so am quite fit. I also exercise my mind (which keeps one young) and am currently getting my second master's degree. I can cook, clean, and run errands. Part of my professional life is giving exercise programs to people in their 60s and 70s. I have my own car, a 2013 Toyota Corolla, which is very easy for an elderly person to get in and out of. Ever since I was a little girl, I have enjoyed listening to elderly people tell me their life stories. And I find reading books out loud to people very satisfying. There have been several times in my life when I have demonstrated my ability to stay cool and calm in the midst of an emergency. So there is no question in my mind that I can rise to any occasion.
