Hi my name is Sara Williams. I am the mother of two boys, a Medical Assistant and life long caregiver. Even though I was the youngest of two children, I have always taken on the role of a caregiver, mediator and healer in my family. It came so natural to me at a very young age. I spent my early years helping my mother care for other children at her in home daycare. Later in life I began working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and then eventually with seniors providing home care and hospice. I have been a stay at home mom to my two boys for the last 6 years. Caring for my eldest son with Autism has been the most humbling and rewarding task of my life. Both of my children have taught me how to be a better caregiver and what it really means to care for people the way they need, and not the way we think they need.
