Elder Care in Kelowna, British Columbia

I am a 45 years young woman with two beautiful daughters, 16 & 21. I live a clean life and most recently have taken an interest in my own life again. I have taken up jogging angain and taking a few random evening courses just for the fun of it. I have been dedicated to senior care for 17 years and continue to be an advocate for quality care. I am a homemaker at heart so I take pride in cooking and cleaning and enjoy these tasks. I would like to provide care without the restrictions applied by a larger health care provider. I love to laugh and can usually get along with anyone. I respect personal space and preferences and believe any time we can help someone stay in their home is the best circumstance for quality of life. I worked for northern health care(Quesnel)in a facility from 1995 to 2003,Then I moved to Kelowna and worked for interior health authority until (quitting) in 2012. I have 4 years experience in a self contained Dementia Care Unit, and have dealt with stroke victims, diabetes, assited transferes to full lift transferes. The past 6 years I spent in home support for Interior Health.
