I'm Diana, I am 29, and working in the region of Waterloo and Peel region. I chose to take up Personal Support Work because I have a passion for caring for people and I wanted to go into a job that applies my morals every day. I am excited to get into the workforce because I have enjoyed working as a live-in nanny being a private music tutor teaching kids from ages 4- to 16 and have taught more than 100 students and also working for Kumon as a math and English tutor. So I would love to continue in this new field of Personal Support Work where I can continue to practice supporting and caring for others. I am currently in College as a Personal Support Worker because just like kids, I also enjoy helping elders who need help grocery shopping or doing everyday chores and I am seeking a live-out, part-time position in the Waterloo region or Peel region, Ontario area. In addition, I hold a CPR and First Aid Level C certification, 2 Vaccines, a TB shot, a Flu shot and up-to-date immunization because it is needed in College for PSWs, to ensure safety for the client and me (the worker) and everyone else.
