Elder Care in Newport, Rhode Island

I will be moving back to my hometown area of Newport, RI in February 2025. My degree from URI is in Human Development and Family Studies and I have my masters in Library Science. I will be looking for a part time live out position in working with the elderly. I currently do the same in New Jersey. I am a patient care advocate, companion and concierge for the elderly. Families describe my work as an intermediary between the adult children and the elder parent. I solve problems and make life easier for all including advocating with doctors, seeing medical conditions thru via sitting in on medical appointments and helping with follow thru. I help in the home and listen to what the individual wants and needs and I make it happen all while empowering those elderly that I help.
