Always my priorities to my client are safety, proper nourishment and hygiene. Provides personal care like bathing/shower, grooming , assist with light meal prep and medications are my primary duties. Transfer/assist with ambulation if needed, remind use of walker or cane, keep breaks on when @ rest. Errands: bed making, change bedding weekly and as needed, laundry, prepare meals, keep house clean and tidy, no clutters for client safety and occasional grocery shopping. Keep client engaged in daily activity like playing games puzzle, cards, listening to music or something that she is interested with for stimulation and make her time productive, watch TV (favorite show) scan old family pictures, drawing/painting, take for a leisure walk. Getting to know clients health condition, understand her likes and dislikes will be of great help to serve and deliver efficient care and win her trust. I am easy to get along with anybody especially to my client, my gentle touch and warm personality are my strength making my client feel comfortable and reassured. If my client is bed ridden or wheel chair bound positioning is very important to prevent bed sore and other complications. Incontinent - change diaper as needed or monitor the frequency to establish changing pattern. Coordinate with family members or POA on a regular basis and as needed re: condition and their expectations. Establish rapport both with client and family members is important to keep communication open, trust and respect. Always prioritize client safety, falls prevention and infection control by observing the above job routine and doctors orders. Furthermore I am a good driver with excellent driving record and owned a reliable car. I am open and always welcome suggestions and constructive criticism for the sake of peace and benefit of my client. I am available for hire any time.
