As a mother who ran a dayhome while her children were small, I enjoy the interaction of people. Doing crafts and spending time with ones who are needing extra care and thus providing for the client\'s loved ones, respite care and knowing that their loved ones are in the care of someone who are sensitive to their needs. The client may still enjoy doing what they have loved to do but are needing someone to help them with certain tasks that they are no longer able to do such as baking and or cooking. My experience in caring for adults is that of transitional times such as moving from home to facility. Cooking and baking; prep work for meals for client. Doing laundry and light housekeeping. Companion caregiving such as going for walks with client or playing games.
