Although my experience was with my own mother I took it on professonaly. It felt so good to help my mom. After she died I felt there has to be elderly people out there that I could help too.
As a mother of 6 I could also be a new mothers helper.
3 yrs. experience support worker for my eldery Mom
Assisted with meals, sorting meds. cleaning. Drive and assist at Dr. Appointments, shopping, walks.
Provided respite for my father who took care of my mother when I couldn't be there.
