I have a large pool home in Arlington with 3 large, furnished bedrooms and considering starting an assisted living facility in my home, also offering Adult Day Care and Respite Care so you can take a well deserved break. I will be considering from total care, bedridden individuals to someone that would like to go on outings, participate in water aerobics and neighborhood walks, shopping and outings. I have recently acquired a hospital bed and some medical equipment. High speed Comcast wireless internet with house computer in common area with assistance provided for new users, home phone, full cable channels including all HBOs, Stars, Encore, Xfinity on Demand, Swimming Pool, Pool Table, Large Greenhouse for Gardening enthusiasts, beautiful older neighborhood for walkers with 2 parks and community center with tennis courts, Olympic sized swimming pool, boat ramp, etc. All meals and snacks prepared and served with assistance provided. Diet restrictions adhered to with regard to Diabetic, Heart Healthy, Low Sodium/Cholesterol, Renal, Coumadin/Vit. K consistent, etc. Full laundry services, daily cleaning of room and linen change, assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Incontinence care and documented turn/repositioning schedule every 2 hours and as needed. Assistance with medications including frequent med reviews with MD, teaching with patient and family provided regarding medication regimen, diagnoses and disease processes. Documented Vital Signs and observations of daily activities. Assistance with making appointments, and transportation for shopping and outings provided. I have extensive experience, training and knowledge of Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, Memory Care as well as caring for Terminally Ill patients. Level II Background Check, CPR and First Aid Certified.
