Light Cleaning Services/ Cooking Doctor Appointments/ Medication Certified/CPR and First Aid Certified Grocery Shopping Social Events/ Entertainment 20 Plus years Activity Director On a state level I collaborated with the University of Nevada Reno and their faculty as special guest speakers for the Park Place residents. Guests included the president of the judicial college, history professors, psychology department, and the athletic department. Orvis School of Medicine students made regular visits to the Park Place community. Speech Pathology students made themselves a part of the activity programs. On a city level we had visits from Jeff Griffin who was the Mayor of Reno, local news channel guests like Tad Dunbar, Amanda Sanchez, Dave and Barbara Finley, and Judge Mills Lane. Occasionally journalist John Tyson would visit and play his guitar for the residents. On a government level some of my guests were Senators Harry Reid and John Ensign, Governor Bob Gibbons, Lieutenant Governor Lorraine Hunt, Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa, and nationally the Maguire Sisters, Tony Bennett, and The Lettermen all made visits to the Park Place community.
